Blessings of 2008

As we approach a new year we always tend to either start working on our New Year resolution or start looking back to regret on the lost opportunities.

For me 2008 has been a year of immense significance and i truly feel blessed to have experienced some great moments and milestones.

Let me list them down..

• Became Father for the second time of a beautiful baby girl whom we have named as Nandika.The last seven months of the year were spend on seeing her grow up which in itself throws some intense moment of happiness.

• In my professional life i got into a completely new area which is Training.Its been something which i wanted to do for a long long time.I can now say 'i'm doing in life what i love doing'.
• I continued with my passion for travelling and one dawn in Khirsu threw a moment of immense ecstacy when i saw mother earth in all its beauty and felt somewhere close to God.

• Loss of my Father taught me life's greatest lesson 'its a short life LIVE it'

• Had the opportunity to spend almost five days with one of the greatest soul alive 'Thick Nhat Hanh',truly an unforgettable experience.

• I was part of the process of merger of an organisation which in itself is an experience of a lifetime.
• I could experience the great financial meltdown of 2008 which was one of the worst financial crisis of the century.I was blessed to have faced it bravely till now.
• Read some great books which got added to my library which i'm building up.
• Watched closely and became a witness to the election of the first black President of America Barack Obama.

• Overall it was a year when i experienced a lot of love.
